Part 3: Bloody Hands
Proverbs 6:16, 17
“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:… hands that shed innocent blood…”
The third thing listed among God’s top seven “I hates” is BLOODY HANDS!
God has given us a pair of hands to use for his glory!
Sadly, we often find ourselves using our hands for the wrong purposes, bringing disgrace to God.

Part 2: A Lying Tongue
Proverbs 6:16, 17
“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:… a lying tongue…”
The second thing listed among God’s top seven “I hates” is a LYING TONGUE!
I wonder whether there is any need to say anything about this. Every careless word that we utter will be put under judgment and all of us will have to give an account of whatever it is that we say. That should make all of us very very afraid!

Part 1: Haughty Eyes
Proverbs 6:16, 17
“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes…”
Let us consider the wisdom of the Proverbs.
There are many things that the Lord hates, many that are detestable to Him! How can we know that which the Lord does not like?
We are given a summary of the things that the Lord hates in proverbs which we shall now explore.
